Last night saw MTV’s Europe Music Awards roll into Belfast, generating a whopping £10,000,000 for the city. As expected Lady Gaga swept up the most awards, with Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Eminem left quaking in her wake. (Her success may have had something to do with a well placed bribe with David Hasslehoff, who, she informed the crowd ‘has a huge penis’, after being presented with the Best Female Award.) It was an evening of nudity, live performances, tears and Amy Winehouse tributes. The full list of winners can be found below.
